During its advisory council meeting here on Friday the community members said it was high time that the United Nations should discharge its moral and legal duties to put an immediate end to decades’ long old conflict in the region. Earlier veteran Kashmiri scholar Sheikh Tajamul-ul-Islam was unanimously elected as the chairman of Kashmir Community Centre (KCC), whereas, Ghulam Hassan Malik was elected as Secretary General of the KCC. The KCC purely apolitical entity would work for the welfare of post 90s migrant community living Pakistan. The advisory council in its maiden session also resolved to establish a community center in the capitally city (Islamabad) with a view to facilitate community members besides addressing the problems faced by them.
