NSA spying just cost an American company a major deal with Germany. The Federal Republic of Germany officially cancels a deal with Verizon for network infrastructure services. The revelations of the spying has sprung Germany to effect a massive overhaul of their internal communications network. Verizon had been providing network infrastructure for the German governments Berlin-Bonn network. The network was used for communication between ministries since 2010. The contract is set to expire in 2015. This is just the beginning of proof that the domestic & international spying program is absolutely BAD FOR BUSINESS! I expect more American businesses to lose contracts through out the world. Unless Americans demand a permanent termination of these programs. American corporations will find it impossible to be considered or compete internationally while the spy program exist.
