Im actually pretty proud of the first set up and how people responded. They stepped out of the crowd and helped that lady. Bravo! Would you have had the courage to step in and help her? 2. The second scenario was much worse. Lots of the Bystander Effect here. Violence is violence! Do you get caught up in this? Do you think that he can handle himself and just ignore it? Or do you step in when a man is being abused? 3. Notice that the abuse is not merely physical on her part. Verbal abuse is nevertheless abuse. Trust me, as a pastor I deal with a lot more verbal abuse than physical in marriages. Its not okay either. Period.
