NSS IS BEING INSENSITIVE TO THE NATIONAL SERVICE PERSONNELS. I wish to on behalf of all services personnels in Ghana (Greater Accra especially) register our displeasure at how the NSS is treating this Years service personnels. With that only a week to the annual Christmas break, since September, service persons have received only two, one (none for Polytechnic Personnel in the case of Greater Accra) month of monies owned it. Most of these personnels have borrowed moneys in anticipation of paying back before the year ends. From all indications, it is clear the secretariat is not ready to pay the monies owedthis year. Questions that arises as a result are; 1. How do the service personnels also celebrate the Christmas with some lock at their places of work without transportation back to their various hometowns. 2. Is it a crime to be a service personnel?? 3. How do the service personnels pay the accrued debts owned the ones they borrowed monies from. 4. Is it a crime to be posted to Greater Accra Region for Service?? We are here to serve our nation and not to be treated as outcast. Thank you. ASPIRING NASPA PRESIDENT (ACCRA METRO).
