NSW serving and ex-serving members of the ADF and their families - TopicsExpress

NSW serving and ex-serving members of the ADF and their families will be provided free travel on Intercity and Sydney Trains, Sydney metropolitan and outer metropolitan buses, Sydney Ferries and Light Rail services to attend Anzac Day services. Note: A station access fee applies for travel to and from Domestic and International Airport stations. The free Anzac Day travel does not include the access fee, so if youre travelling from these stations youll need to buy a GatePass. Serving members, ex-serving personnel and their families must wear ADF uniform, display service medals, or carry official documentation from an RSL Branch or other recognised ex-services organisation to obtain free travel. Free travel will also be available for war widows / widowers who carry a war widows / widowers Gold Card or an official RSL letter. Members of the above groups planning to travel on NSW TrainLink Regional services can purchase a return ticket for the price of a single fare, for travel on any day between 23 and 29 April. When making their booking, veterans will need to have their status confirmed on a letter bearing the RSL or other recognised ex-services organisation’s letterhead.
