NURSE This excruciating pain seem as the only thing They pricked me with needles Raised my phobia to escalating levels My fears between death and this place were only separated by a thing demarcation line So hard to extinguish between the better option To live or to die But my hope still lays in this same fear inducing beings Clothed in white like angels Yet their acts instill fear into my weakening spirit They tried to console me with smiles but all vanished and mingled with my agony From the strength of my body all collapsed My dreams seem to be shuting down The world moved so distant beyond my reach I tried with all my strength but all I could do was to keep on digging my self deeper into this hovel Bottles of water surrounded me everyday Tried to count the drops s they vanish into my feeble being But I lost count as pain and reality reminded me of my current state In my mind fitness was in abaundnce but out it was not the case All left me in a conflicting war I could not stop Tried to look up but I was not at the top My weakness could not even allow me to hop Through all I still hoped Still believed in a future so bright beyond this pain Paradise without pain I beheld it Days passed Night mares of being bed crippled still haunted Out of my frail body I still hoped And from it all I recovered The same bed I thought was my grave Stood out for me to make the save What was my worst night mares became my life saviours My angels in deed BY Isaac Anneleng
