NWS:Scattered snow showers ongoing across all of northern Illinois and Northwest Indiana will continue through late evening. Occasional brief bursts of moderate snow are likely with visibility reducing to under one mile at times within this heavier snow. Although any accumulations are expected to be light...isolated areas could possibly observe up to one half inch. Area travelers should use caution as conditions will likely vary over short distances...while snow covered roads create slick conditions.
