NZ Labour decries the lack of productivity growth; its solution is to debt fund child birth among that demographic least able to afford children. Thats kind of like offering cheap housing loan or low interest rates to couples at the top of a bubble isnt it? Not an original idea; it was used by the Peter Costello-John Howard in Australia. A conservative govt, so it just more evidence that these people come from the same extortionary pedigree. Taking money they didnt earn to extort influence over people. Labour does it to serve its constituency; and the Conservatives response...well protect those hurt with their own measure of extortion...with no intent to end it. Has John Key made any moves to change the system. None. If Jamie Whyte is elected leader of the ACT Party, you have a person who will more likely resemble a statesman than a political saleman promising your other peoples money.
