Good Evening All! Wanted to just drop a quick note to give you an update on me. Those of you with whom I am in regular contact already know this, but it feels weird to not share this with my larger circle - my Facebook community, about whom I care so deeply. ❤ Twelve days ago, my physician discovered an emergent situation in my left foot. Id rather not go into detail on social media, but I will tell you that it required immediate surgery and four days of hospitalization. Im unable to return to work just yet, and Ill be recovering for a number of weeks. I see my doctor again tomorrow, but as far as I can tell, I am recovering well. I have been enormously blessed by the marvelous care of my dear friends Amy and Cindy at each of their respective homes. If I am indeed doing as well as I think I am, it is in large part due to these angels-on-earth. In a recent email to some friends, I wrote the following: As is often the case when trauma or tragedy strikes, I find myself feeling a tremendous amount of gratitude. I have received the finest medical care that the world has to offer. I have been, and will no doubt continue to be, enveloped in the love of the most beautiful community of family and friends that a girl could ever wish for. I have consistently felt and have never doubted the presence and provision of Almighty God. Christ in me, Christ before me, Christ behind me (St. Patrick) has been my mantra. So thats whats been going on, and I wanted you all to know. Not only because I covet your prayers, but because I love you all. So thats the news. And yes, its another mountain to get over, but Im up for the climb.
