NaPoMo|2014 - 30/1 Peaces - by DevysOne I had closed my eyes for the briefest of moments Counted one through ten and opened them again to find you There...in pieces Collapsed and still Eyes frozen yet ajar You were my imploding star and yes, My world did revolve around you. From my closest inner orbit, Your warmth supplied my heat to the point of Melting through my walls and leaving my surface Red and exposed Yet, Id chosen these revolutions Or at least I thought that I did... Your outer orbit, so cold and distant That throughout the years that we had been together You had never even completed your first orbit Not quite full-circle by any definition And not quite Love but a close rendition, It was just enough to keep me there from the big bangs until this... And now, theres only Peace. Peace to fill in the chaotic gaps that must remain unanswered... Because knowing never really made the difference, did it?! Peace to quiet those arguments that will never come to pass... Because our silence screamed louder than any infinity plus 50 shade of gray Peace of mind knowing that your spirit has moved on but your memories will never fade, Never die!
