Nadi duo to wait for medical clearance NADI have to await a final medical assessment on defender Viliame Toma and Munit Krishna for clearance to play in the Pillay Garments Champion versus Champion against Ba tomorrow. Toma missed the first CVC match at Prince Charles Park last Sunday because a groin strain. Krishna played in the match but had to be replaced mid-way in the second half after getting injured. Nadi team manager Kamlesh Sami said they were hopeful that the duo would be cleared. Sami said Eliki Ravosai would be a sure starter after recovering from an injury. The morale of the players is high, he said. Our preparations have gone well. We have worked on the mistakes made in the first match. Coach Kamal Swamy put a lot of emphasis on defence. The Nadi Football Association has arranged for buses to take fans to Govind Park for the fixture. The buses will leave the Nadi Town Mobil Service Station at 12.30pm. The return fare is $5. The first match of the series ended in a 1-all draw. Ba holds the upper hand going into the second match having scored the away goal. The defending champions just need a scoreless draw to retain the title. Meanwhile the Ba Football Association has placed a media ban on the team. The match will kick off at 3pm.
