Nagpur eBird workshop- 2nd Jan. 2015 Timing- 5.00 to 7.30pm Venue- Conference Hall (2nd floor), Rashtrabhasha Sankul, behind Wockhardt Hospital, Shankar Nagar. WildCER - Society for Wildlife Conservation, Education and Research wildcer.org.in and Bird Count India (birdcount.in/about/) have organised a short workshop on eBird (ebird.org/content/ebird/) and bird monitoring. Rohit Chakravarty will demonstrate how to use eBird, a global internet-based checklist program, to keep track of your records and how your observations improve our understanding of birds. He will also do a short presentation on bird monitoring with emphasis on various kinds of projects that local birding groups can undertake in their cities. Distribution of Bird Race log books will also happen during this event. All birders are welcome!
