UPDATE: Many of you have inquired about Ken. Thank you for your continued prayers for our family. We are praying for you also. For those who were not aware, we are home from the hospital. Bishop amazed even me this time and did just what he said he would do. It would not have been possible for me to transport him to clinic, etc by myself, but I was able to rest in the fact that Rock is here to help me and our spiritual sons too. However, Bishop said to the doctors, Let me out of this hospital, let me eat food so that I can gain some strength. I will rehabilitate myself. I taught this stuff. I dont need your physical therapy. You will see. One of his specialists sent up a physical therapist to prove their case that Ken was not strong enough to go home. Ken raised himself up out of bed, sat up slowly, stood up, refused a walker (That made me nervous, because he had been in bed for 15 days and only had been up for brief moments as he was too weak.), but walked by himself outside the room and back. We were all amazed again: doctors, nurses and family. It was not possible, but then nothing is impossible with Jesus. The impossible is always HIMpossible. The lipase level continued to rise. It should have been 63, but the last result we heard was 1247. The Lord told me to stop looking at the numbers. Only God knows what it is now. Ken stopped them from doing any tests because he was determined to go home and threatened to pull out the central line. (I intervened. No sir! We are not pulling out any lines. That would not have been a pretty picture for it was in an artery.) They were irritated with him, but quickly removed it and let him go quickly too. His nephrologist said, Feed him anything that he wants and we will pray... (I marveled at hearing him say that. He is from India and the Lord healed his knees when Ken prayed for him.) ...He no die! NO! We have been here before. He will get strong and beat this again, the doctor said. I know many of you are praying against Kens will, some are praying that he is comfortable and some that Gods will be done. My family and I are taking it one day at a time with sweet Jesus. Love you guys! Im overcoming a painful middle ear infection. The kids were so sweet attending to the both of us through the night - sleeping with the bedroom doors open. It was too special. Thanking God for all He has done for us. I feel like I live in a glass house anyway so I share the goodness of God - never for sympathy - but for Him to get all the glory. We are not a woe-is-me sort of people. We are warriors, gladiators - the overcoming conquering sort. This too came to pass so we are resting in the bosom of the Lord. Have a great night tonight and a better day tomorrow!
