Namaskar, As all of us are aware that the Election of Hope is under process in our state of J&K. This is presumed to be a watershed election that may prove to be game changer in the trouble torn state. Minority Hindu voters have always played a significant role in the outcome of several constituencies. Poll boycott call by some outfits and multi cornered contest in many constituencies further enhances the importance of KP votes. Understanding importance of these elections JKVM, along with several senior community activists worked with authorities to a) ensure enrolment of maximum possible eligible KP voters, b) to ensure convenient voting, increase the number of polling booths in all cities where KP presence is visible. We have also put in place a mechanism to make enrolment easy for individuals. Points-men all over NCR and other cities have been identified to collect/deposit forms. Authorities have assured us to extend registration up-to 1st week of November 2014. The required form is attached herewith. Everyone is requested to fill-up this form and deposit it with any of the below mentioned volunteers and get yourself and your eligible family members enrolled in J&K voter register. We can, at latter stage surrender our voter card issued at our present address. A meeting was held in 26 DDU Marg on 28th of October 2014, which was attended by several prominent persons including Sh. T.N. Razdan, Dr. Romesh Raina Gen. Secretary AIKS; Sh. Vijay Raina President KSD; Sh. Sanjay Ganjoo President JKVM; Sh Rakesh Koul Past President KSD; Sh. Puran Patwari Secretary AIKS, Sh. Sameer Chrungoo General Secretary KSD; Sh Utpal Koul; Sh. Rajiv Pandit, Aditya Tcku and others. Worth mentioning that your enrollment as voters in your motherland i.e Kashmir shall in future be very useful for all of us. The below mentioned volunteers of different areas/ cities can be contacted for collecting blank forms and for depositing the filled in forms and other related quires. The filled in form along with copy of address proof of J&K, State subject certificate and a photograph of the applicant can be deposited with any of the below mentioned volunteers.
