Namaskaram Thank you for booking for the Hata Yoga Class. if you have`nt booked do so and email me on yogaon@cheerful 7-30 till 9-30am Saturday the 15th at the Alexandra Theatre, Braamfontein....Every Saturday FOR THE FIRST CLASS PLEASE ARRIVE 1O MIN BEFORE, AS WE WILL HAVE REGISTRATION.. There are a few guidlines to practice this type of yoga. 1. Eating- If you have a full meal you must wait 4 hrs before you can practice 2. Eating- If you have a snack ( fruit, crakers) allow 2 hrs before you practice 3. Water Drinking- We do not drink water or go to the loo after the session starts or during class, the reason for this is that , when we sweat our sweat has energy that is being built throughout the class so rub it back into the exposed part of your body. we dont want to drain energy. 4.Attendance- it is best to attend all classes as there is a sequence and will be teaching all Asanas in full detial so each class will compromise of a few Asanas or else you will miss something and get half baked Yoga. 5.Coming on time - If you come in late you will be looking at someone else , it is not only not going to work like that, you could course damage to yourself, come at least after the first class 5min before and sit quietly, not talking to anybody, just allow your system, body, your breath and your metabolism to settle down. 6.No notes taking, Classical Yoga is experimental, if you make it knowledge it wont work, it has to be recieved, not understood, it has to be percieved and recieved that way. 7.Shower - Take a shower Before, in summer just under room temp, will help you be more sublte, After practice there must be a 1and a half hour gap before you can shower, When we practice Yoga we generate a certain amount of Ushna ( heat) in the system, it will not be conducive to put water on the system right after class. 8. Clothing - Dress in loose clothing , something natural, Synthetic will go static, which is not good for the system. 9 Support - Please bring a towel, like the drying after a shower towl to use if you may need support when sitting is uncomfortable. 10. Warmth - Bring a jersey or a wide long scarf to cover yourself when or if its chilly. Hope you will all be able to come , lets get the health movment going and get our Yoga on.
