Namaste Friends Here is the miserable story of a 16years old girl. Sushmitha D/o. of Sri Venkatesh & Smt. Bhagyamma of Hottiginahalli of Chennapattana Taluk, Ramanagar Dist. Sushmitha from a very poor family, her parents are basically farmers. She is the youngest among three girls. She was studying at class 10, was very good at sports as well as studies. Last year she developed pain in her limb & consulted local doctor at Channapattana & Doctor treated for few days and when pain did not subside, doctor diagnosed as joint pain & started new experiment on her. That wrong diagnosis & treatment resulted in failure of both her kidneys. After consulting many private doctors in Bangalore finally they landed at Institute of Nephro Urology, and she is under dialysis for the past few months, As her veins are not co-operating for dialysis due to blockage in it, only option left out now is renal transplantation,. Though her mother Bhagyamma has come forward to donate kidney for her daughter, since the blood group of mother & daughter are different, Institute of Nephrology does not have such facility to transplant. And this facility is available only at Narayana Hrudayalaya & Apollo Hospitals. But, charges at Narayana Hrudayalaya are exorbitant (more than Rs 10 Lakhs). Through a doctor who is benevolent, Apollo hospital have given an approximate estimate of Rs. 4 lakh for this major surgery. As they are already poor & struggling to make both ends meet, they are not in a position to arrange such a huge amount. Therefore, I am requesting on behalf of ill fated Sushmitha & her family to donate generously. Now she is in real need of financial assistance to survive.
