Namaste guys! I hope you guys have been having a great Sunday! Being that its Sunday and in the mid 60s we did a little shooting practice today. I know I know I promised pictures of me shooting but William forgot to take the shots LOL Pic 1 is a lovely shot of what happens when your arrow slips while youre shooting.. that slice is from the real fletching in the arrows I was using, it you look closely, you can see see a small piece of feather embedded in my hand XD Pic two is what happens when you know its been a few years since youve shot and still insist that you dont need an arm guard... I assure its a lot more colorful and puffy in person LOL So I need to make an arm guard... easy peasy I can do this no problem.. Nellie said I did pretty good for someone that hasnt shot in a few years. I only over shot 3-4 arrows and each was I think the first shot after Nellie or Olaf had me correct something, so I figure that isnt too bad.. I only lost the tip of one arrow >.> Ive been informed that a metal detector would have a field day around the archery target so I didnt feel so bad LOL All in all it was fun. I love archery and Im getting used to the draw on the bow (and Nikki and Olaf taught me a WAY easier way to string the bow so WOOT its a bit difficult to unstring it since the ruts in the bow are so deep but Ill get my body conditioned real quick. I just have to remember the things I need to work on... Back straight, Dont lock the elbow (I have a HORRID habit of doing that), Just let go of the arrow XD (I tend to glide my hand off it and the arrow ends up skidding across the ground)
