Name : Khotibul umam Class : PBI / A.1 Report Text Cheetahs Cheetahs are large feline mammals that live in Asia, Africa, and part of the Middle East. They are known as being extremely strong and fast. They have black spots on the fur. Cheetahs have a small head. They spend most of their life in an open biotope. Habitat Cheetahs like living in an open biotope, such as semidisert and thick bush. Small populations of Cheetahs live in the Kerosene Province of Iran. Speed Cheetahs can run faster than any other big cat. They speed is 112 to 120 km/h or 70 to 75 mph and they can be faster in short burst with a distance up to 500m.They have the ability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h or 62 mph in three seconds. Hunting Cheetahs are carnivore so they eat prey like Wildebeests and Zebras. They often hunt at night in which Cheetahs are diurnal hunter. Cheetahs also hunt in the morning or later in the evening if the weather is not hot. Cheetahs chase their prey in less than a minute. They have a average hunting success rate 50%. The Cheetah kills its prey by trapping it and they bite the underside of throat to suffocate it.
