Nancy- Hey there been a minute. I should be back in about 4-6wks. Diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukaemia (ML-5), treated via a bone marrow transplant. Being a med student Im assuming you will understand that ;) Regards. Me- Yes I do doll... wow, thats heavy to bear... thank God for India.... looking foward to seeing you, happy for you. Nancy- Yup, n it all started with an apendicectomy gone wrong... been in hospital since March! Anyway, its pretty much over now as Im recovering from what I sincerely hope was my last encounter with chemotherapy. That stuff sucks even more than being told you have cancer lol. Cant wait to get back home though. Me- Wow, and all this while I thought you were still in school, Id have been there for you if i knew, si we boys like dat? The chemo.... no words. J thank God for giving you the strength, you look so pretty in the pics, would have never suspected, so did you hair fall off... as you said, med student. Nancy- Lol. I graduated in December 2011! I was working! It all happened so fast, most guys heard about it via Capital fm, Joey sent out an appeal for blood donors on my behalf, the rest was via twitter, the we have blood and redcross handles. Response was amazing coz I had to get transfused every two to three days for a whole 7wks and folks came through. Its all right, yeah I lost my hair, my skin became paper like, my gums got soft n my nails became black so yeah...not exactly at my prettiest but I feel like a princess *\o/* Me- You are mwende, you taken me back to the old days in hurli, priceless, no?
