Narendra Modi and his party has made a good start as far as governance of this nation is concerned. Although as Chief Minister of Gujarat Modi did put up a performance of par excellence nevertheless the fact that one cannot be oblivious to is that India as a nation is much bigger and far more diverse as compared to the state of Gujarat. Hence the going for present government led by Narendra Modi is certainly a task that is challenging wherein pitfalls shall be an integral part. The government needs time which is a period ranging from ten to fifteen years if not more to change and the existing pattern of working but expecting a complete turn around one needs to wait and watch for the next fifteen years. Although the mandate given by the people of this country having shown a confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party, the ball now lies in the court of the party that has formed the government to prove their mettle and satisfy the expectations of the people of India. This is the part not as simple as one can say for the expectations should be in connivance with national interests. Thus to maintain this fine balance is the art that the Modi government must have should they aspire to rule for the next two to three terms at a stretch.
