Narok County Governor Hon Samuel Ole Tunai joined the community at Nkairamiram area in Narok town ward at a thanksgiving ceremony for the Chief Officer in charge of Labour relations Mrs Sophie Sadera. Wananchi turned up from all corners of the county for the celebration. The Governor in his speech congratulated Sophie for the appointment and added that he has a lot of confidence in her that shes already doing great at her job. He mentioned that Sophie is a philanthropist for she gave her first salary to the construction of a Sunday School classroom for her local church. The Governor said soon a strategic plan for NAROK Town will be launched so that work can begin to change the town into a real capital of the Seventh wonder of the world. The MCAs had a meeting early this week where they were guided through the plan and how Narok town should look like. The plan includes two bypasses to ease traffic congestion. Present during the celebrations were CECs, Chief officers, Directors, MCAS amongst them Majority leader Ole Kudate, area MCA Bernard Torome, deputy speaker Ole Ketuyio, Ildamat MCA Moses Samante, Siana MCA Ole Siololo, Naikarra MCA ole Nchoe, Nominated MCA Nenkai Karkar amongst other Conty Governmet staff.
