Natasha E Powers Hello all Im a baby in this natural hair movement, I havent relaxed my hair since 5/2014! My hair is a mess! Prior to starting to go natural I wore braids which thinned my hair & broke it! Then I let a friend put a sew in weave in my hair (my 1st time) hoping to protect it. I messed up because I relaxed it after I took the braids out & again after the weave. My 16 yr old is beautifully natural & she is trying to help me but my question is how long will it take to figure out what my texture is & what are the best styles (without the big chop) that wont break my hair or thin my edges? All suggestions are appreciated!
