National 6 Stage & Young Athlete Relays - 12/13th October On a wet/cold weekend in Sutton Coldfield the club was represented in the above National Championships, on saturday the 12th October by the Senior Men (who had qualified via the Northern Champ) which was made up of a very young team with an average age of 21. The athletes who did represent the club gained valuable experience at a National level which can only auger well for their (and the clubs) future, the team members were, Dara Chesser, Calum Johnson, Jackson Creegan, Dan Johnson, Greg Chambers, Sam Brand. On the sunday (13th) our U/17,s Men Team who were the only representatives from the region ran tremendously well to gain 7th position, which turned out to be a very competative race, along with their high placing in the Northern Championship, this team has established itself alongside the best teams in the Country, and all credit to James Cripwell, Joe Armstrong, Jed Marshall, for their performance on the day.
