National Association of Political Science Students (NAPSS) Motto: Man By Nature Is Political Animal Yobe State University, Chapter Holds its first convocation of the farewell to its graduates members at the department of political science, Yobe State University, Damaturu . The convocation was opened with the prayers delivered by Amir Mss (YSU Chapter) and later cultural group came on the stage featured a short good and mind-captivating drama with theme:’’ Importance of Higher Education for the Youths. ‘’ Amongst the dignitaries which have been invited is The Rt. Honourable Speaker, Yobe State House Of Assembly Dala Dogo, alongside his members of the State Assembly, Commissioner Of Woks , Professor Musa Alabe Vice Chancellor (YSU), Dr .Umara Ibrahim (HOD) Department Of Political Science University Of Maiduguri . An Associate Professor Dr. Aslam Khan (HOD) Department Of Political Science Yobe State University, Damaturu, Dr. Saeed Hudawi (HOD) Department Of Islamic Studies (YSU). Meanwhile, The Professor Musa Alabe has expressed his gratitude to the governor of the state for his relentless efforts towards the standardization and realization of this varsity by pooling the state resources, Thank You Sir. We applauded! The conference meeting has been successfully conducted with the jamboree of the students from the various Departments of the Yobe State University. More interestingly, the three erudite doctors have gave a wonderful lectures on the papers titled: DEMOCRACY AND THE WIDER WORLD Lectured By Dr Aslam Khan. NATIONAL YOUTHS SERVICE ORIENTATION Lectured By Dr. Umara Ibrahim, DEMOCRACY IN ISLAM Lectured By Dr Saeed Hudawi. The gathering was first of its kind in the history of the Yobe State University Damaturu . Indeed, it is so exciting and amusing convocation that ever took place in this varsity. Lastly, Rt. Honorobale Dala Dogo has pledged to donate the sum of N250, 000=00K alongside with his Commissioner of Works donates N50, 000=00k to the Association. The Rt.Honorouble Speaker, Dala Dogo was nominated as a Grand Patron of the Association. He was presented with the Certificate of the Association along with the highly respected dignitaries. This is a great achievement as far as to this growing university in the north eastern region of Nigeria the university deserves a commendation and support from the state indigenes to make her reality. We the students of this great university we pledged to do as you have trained us to do, we can’t do as you asked us not to do. In addition to this we shall follow the footsteps of our teachers who made a sacrifices to see our education is incomparable and best to arrest the present situation of educational turmoil. Particularly, our youngers one in the villages who lacking good education, it is now incumbent upon us to face the challenges .Thank You Guys!!!
