National Polocrosse Championships Hard to believe it’s over a month since we were in Darwin. Congratulations to Vicki Mayne, all the committee, volunteers & NT Polocrosse for hosting a great National Championships. The atmosphere, fields & hospitality were great. With the hot weather, misting fans and strappers were working overtime between chukkas. Sideline space was at a premium and I would like to thank some lovely Western Australians for looking after my spot during the finals. It is always such a pleasure to watch great horses and top players on the polocrosse field. From the Under 12 Juniors right through to the Senior Mens & Womens divisions there were so many wonderful Australian Stock Horses & talented players, with some amazing horse and rider combinations. A huge thank you to Les Fraser and all the ASH Horse Judges. With so many exceptional horses in action across all divisions it can’t have been an easy job. Well done to Jim Callinan, Doug Dodds & Harry Kirk for their entertaining and expert commentary - great job fellas. Congratulations to all those who were in winning teams and those who picked up Horse & or Player awards and to all the players on being selected. Thank you all for your huge commitment to the sport - I was very glad I was able to be there!!!! Cathy Finlayson
