Natural Approaches for GOUT PDF Print E-mail Written by Kathy Hughes Monday, 17 September 2012 13:51 Natural Approaches for GOUT A friend of mine was suffering from Gout and had tried several medications but he was still in a lot of pain and frustrated as nothing worked. I told him to try apple cider vinegar. He was so happy with the res ults he has become a fan and now spreads the word to everyone he knows. Some causes may be related to diet, stress, lack of exercise, weight, medication, high meat consumption, or kidney function. Gout is inflammation or swelling of an area (mostly the big toe) and can be very painful. It can be an indication of a very acidic body. High meat consumption is often found in many sufferers. Here are some natural approaches for Gout: • Drink plenty of pure clean water – 3 litres • Add Celtic Sea Salt to your diet • Eat a bowl of organic cherries per day for pain to assist the body in breaking up the uric acid that is causing the gout • Bathe in a magnesium bath (Epsom Salts) every day for 2 weeks. This helps to absorb magnesium into the body which may help to break uric acid. These baths also help with the pain • 1 tablespoon of raw organic apple cider vinegar mixed with a small glass of water twice a day. Raw sugar can be added to sweeten. • Walking • Use an ice pack to help reduce the swelling • Consider a detox and increase consumption of raw wholefoods while reducing or eliminating meat to help bring balance back into the body. authenticdiscovery.au/natural-approaches-for-gout
