Naturalist Activities for September 14th: 10:00 am Naturalist Guided Cave Tour - Learn about the native plants, geography, outlaws and legends. Sign up and pay at the Cabin Office or the Gift Shop before 9:30 am. Meet the Naturalist at the cave information sign to begin the tour. $3.00 per person – children under 5 are free. 4:00 pm Cane Pole Fishing - Meet at the Nature Center to learn how to make your own cane fishing pole. Sign up at the Cabin Office or the Gift Shop by 3:30 pm. $3.00 per person. We supply the cane pole, fishing line and even the worms. Afterwards, join the Naturalist at Lake Carlton to try out your pole! 6:30 pm Hayride around the Park- $4.00 per person- children under 5 are free. We will have a tractor, trailer and square bales of hay at the Cabin Office. Join the Naturalist for an old fashioned, slow paced ride through the park. Sign up and pay at the Cabin Office before 6:00 pm.
