Nature Awareness 4/3/2014 - Crow In metaphysical circles, crows are considered first and foremost considered omens of change. They are also the keepers of the sacred law and secrets, and they are known to be guardians of the left handed path. From a magical standpoint, they are wonderful for psychic protection and healing and will literally mob together to drive off negative energy from those they care for. In a more naturalistic sense, crows are known for their extreme intelligent. They can learn to use tools and develop complex communications with humans and other species. They are also called thieves in that they will pick up anything shiny: jewelry, coins, watches, anything that catches their attention. Those who carry crow medicine or work with it regularly, once they become attuned to it, can begin drawing what they need and value into their own lives. They also have the ability to teach others how to learn to value themselves and others, to go for the gold, and to be open to receive from the Universe. Crow people will also be god and bringing folks together whether for family reasons, friendship circles, or to accomplish a goal or achieve the outcomes of a cause. Those working with crows know how to rally their mobs. Crows are also well known for their curiosity and intense exploration of anything that catches their attention. So when crow or people who carry their medicine show up in your life it can indicate that now is the time to explore those things that have recently caught your eye or that something new is about to enter your life that is beneficial for you... so pay attention! Crows are always on the lookout as part of their survival mechanisms and it benefits us to also pay attention when they appear as the Universe is trying to tell us something important. And, Crow has a message for each and every one of us today. Crow caws out... You need to be willing to walk your talk and speak your truth. You must put aside your fear of being a voice in the wilderness and caw the shots as you see them! Symbolism: change, secrets, teamwork, healthy curiosity, healing, intelligence, speaking truths.
