Naty and I had a serious bike accident in Sri Lanka a tuktuk driver made an unexpected u-turn in the middle of the road and hit us off our bikes. luckly naty didnt get hurt too badly and she didnt land in the ditch with her bike like me. So finally we back in Berlin after a hellish week in 4 hospitals in Sri Lanka with street dogs and cats in the rooms and dirt dripping from the roof. German automobile club flew me with doctors (gelbe Engel we call them in germany and thats what they are) back and just today we arrived here. Got a multiple fracture in my left lower leg just next to knee which is very bad and will be attempted to be fixed by surgery on Monday by on of the best in the field who is a friend of Natys family. Will never be back to be as mobile as I was but lets hope I will be able to walk more or less normally. At least the infections went down and as it looks there is no more danger to my life. And like thats all not shitty enough I dont have health insurance and I will have to pay all the surgery and hospital stay my self. Without naty I could have never survived this last week, she never left my side, fought like a lion mother for me and was the best nurse I could have ever hoped for
