Nearly all the proposed health care legislation, including FAPAs, - TopicsExpress

Nearly all the proposed health care legislation, including FAPAs, died Friday as the 2014 Legislative Session came to a close. While we will not see improvements in PA access this year, there were still very positive developments this session as a growing legislative support of PA Practice was definitely felt. Furthermore, our passage of PA legislation in the House side this session revealed many new champions to our cause of expanding healthcare access to all Floridians. We feel very optimistic about future sessions as a result and continue to encourage all of you to meet with your legislators and educate them about what you do and why they should support you. A huge THANK YOU to our outstanding lobby group Mixon & Associates for their tireless work on our behalf this session, as well as to our amazing leadership for their time and efforts in Tallahassee throughout the session. Please continue to support our efforts to improve your profession, which can only succeed with your membership in FAPA!
