Nebuchadnezzar had a dream. He sent for the sorcers and astrologers to tell him what the dream was and what it ment. They told him there was no one who could tell him what he dreamed. NO ONE! He became very angry and gave a decree for all the wise men to be killed. Daniel heard and sent word to the king to give him some time and drop the decree to kill the wise men until then. He did. Then Daniel returned to his house and explained the matter to his friends. Hananiah ( the king had changed his name to Shadrach), to Mishael ( Meshach ) and Azariah to ( Abednego). Pray to the GOD of heaven, said Daniel, for the answer to the dream, so he and his friends and all the wise men may be spared. GOD gave Daniel a dream, and he had an answer for the king. This is how he praised GOD: Praise be to the name of GOD for ever and ever; wisdom and power are HIS. he changes times and seasons; he sets up kings and deposes them. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells with him. I thank and praise YOU, O GOD of my fathers: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of YOU, YOU have made known to us the dream of the king. Daniel 1:20 thur 23. What praise! What honor Daniel had shown to the ONE and only GOD," YAWEH!"
