Need YOUR OPINION! Should more MEN get involved in the wedding planning process? I vote YES! Its Wedding Wednesday! Why am I voting yes? See below. Tell me..what is your vote? Yes or No? Never in my career have I received so many calls from men who are in charge of hiring the DJ. Why am I so glad about this? MALE: We live in Brooklyn. Yet, we are getting married in Philadelphia. Ive called a number of DJ companies. Youre the first DJ who hasnt said YOU were going to tell ME how you were going to run MY wedding. When can we meet you? FEMALE: Yeah I called a few DJ companies. They did kind of tell me that they were going to tell me how they were going to run my wedding. I thought it was a little weird, but I just figured they knew what they were talking about. The FACT is... male or female, NO ONE, NO DJ should tell you how they are going to RUN YOUR WEDDING. First of all, are we at a factory? Second of all, isnt it your wedding? Should a great DJ give you their expert advice? YES. Should they guide you, educate you and assist you with the music, introductions and special dances? YES. Should they make sure the day of your wedding they are coordinating with your other vendors to ensure you are enjoying yourself? YES. Should they ever say they are going to tell you how they are going to run YOUR WEDDING??? NO!
