Need help with your DACA fees?? Conoze a un joven que necesite ayuda a pagar sus gastos para Accion deferida? MICA is a coalition of congregations in Contra Costa County working for immigrant justice. The MICA DACA Sponsorship will support legal consultation and review for DACA applicants. With this program we hope to enable DACA-eligible youth living in the Bay Area to overcome financial constraints that might otherwise prevent them from applying. The congregations will offer get-acquainted activities for the recipients to meet each other and members of the sponsoring congregation. If congregations have the resources, they may be able to assist recipients with job hunting skills, networking opportunities or provide other resources to overcome hurdles on the path to achieving DACA status and finding a job. We will be awarding the sponsorship on a first come, first serve basis starting November 1, 2013.
