Need last minute help for Pineapple Upside down cake.........taking to friends for dinner this afternoon. I am following a recipe i got from the internet and it calls for a 12 skillet. I have a 13. 10 and an 8. I am thinking using the 10 & 8 together. Im not sure how much the cake will rise in the pans, therefore not knowing how much to put in. Are the pans heated with the melted butter and brown sugar or just cover the bottom with them cold and dump in the cake mix? Im thinking I would need to slather the butter up the sides of the skillet. It also calls for 1 cup of the pineapple juice instead of water, does that sound excessive? Any advice given will be greatly appreciated. Im not really worried because everything done in CI has been amazing.
