Need your URGENT Action....Dear Friends & Heritage Enthusiasts, In the name of renovation and preservation, invaluable heritage material is being destroyed. Here is a link to the article on Dinamalar that talks about the mindless destruction in Thiruvottiyur Temple, Chennai, an ancient temple. Our Heritage group has been fighting this without concrete success in terms of stalling the destruction. We have now considering gathering like-minded people to take direct action - a Dharna in the temple. Many of you have been appreciative of our heritage and support preservation efforts. Now is the time to walk the talk. We need your support. We need a show of strength by numbers. Please comment (those of you in Chennai) if you would be able to allocate a few hours and participate in a Dharna for preservation of our priceless treasures.
