Need your input here everyone and your opinions. You see even though we are only 2 points behind Arsenal and surrounded by other teams I feel we are missing something that can turn us into real title challengers and something that can help us take advantage of other teams misfortunes on weekend when they falter. In reality we should be on top of the Premier League by at least two points and Im saying that because we should not have lost at home to Southampton and we should have won today. The answer has to lie within the squad we have because we cant just make players out of thin air. Dont say its impossible because it is not if you know the history of Liverpool and how one great man turned a bunch of good players into a team of great players that went on to conquer English football and European football for two decades. There are things I would suggest and they might not comply with your views but this is the thing with football and loving the game so much. It gets inside you head and drives you mad sometimes. haha First of all I have reservations about Moses. I just dont think he has any major impact on the game and the way Brendan Rodgers wants Liverpool to play it. Its like the passing slows down when he gets the ball. Maybe he should be pushed out to the wing and instead of starting him, start Sterling instead and bring on Moses later. Once Coutinho is back Moses wont be playing in that position and it will probably be shared between Coutinho and Alberto. We dont do too badly in games but it is nothing like the flowing play we are capable. At times when we struggle we are getting through by the skin of our teeth and this has to change or else we will be demolished by better teams. Things have to change and they have to change soon because it is really going to get rough over the next two months. We also need to find impact subs that can see us over the line and change the flow of a game and turn those nasty little draws into wins. I believe Jordan Ibe might be one of those players, even though he is very young. I honestly believe Brendan Rodgers can turn our good team into a great team and even though I dont expect him or any other manager in the Premier League to do what Liverpool did in the past, I expect him to turn us into contenders every year from now on. #fran #lfc
