Neil Campbell 9 mins · Kyiv, Ukraine · Eight months ago I stood on Maidan as the bodies of young men whod died at the hands of a brutal regime were honoured by a massive crowd. It was a saturday evening. Since then I have seen images of an infant lying dead in a dirt field whod probably been sitting in his parents lap moments before, a young boy dead in the same field still in his seat, the shattered bodies of innocent civilians, a grandmother crying over her dead granddaughter whose hand shed been holding when the shell dropped, and the corpses of many, many young men whod died defending their country. And I cannot stop wondering, where are the governments of the so-called free world? Where are the governments of that infant and young boy, and all the other passengers on that plane? The outrage has past, nothing has been done, and everyone has forgotten. They were just people, and people die every day, including children. But here men, women and children are still dying. But they are just men, women and children. And men, women and children die every day, right? Do not forget. Keep it in your mind. Rage against the brutality of those who have inflicted this carnage on the world, and rage against the governments who stand by and do nothing. Only when it ends can we be happy. youtube/watch?v=7B5AXBFeRLM
