Neo has no more pokey corners! I was noticing when I was stroking him that in order to feel his pointy hips, the center spike of his spine, or even his ribs, you must apply a little pressure. I would call his recovery from 38 days alone in the wild complete. Hes gotten really picky about eating these days. But he seems happy and his coat is soft and slick and full of the Bengal glitter so Im not worrying. His food intake has fallen to half of what he was eating when he returned home just skin over a skeleton. Part of that was me deciding to cut him back, but was also based on feeding him less each time he hadnt cleaned up what was previously offered. In any case he weighs 13 lbs now (a gain of 7.5 lbs over the 5.5 lbs he weighed when first back home, but 3 lbs less than when he escaped). It looks healthy on him; so much better than the 22 lbs at his heaviest. So the word now is maintainence diet. In the second picture hes trying to say hi, but it could pass for a snarl lol.
