In collaboration with Prof. Yvonne Zajontz, Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the NEGAAS is going to organize a three days workshop on ‘Learning by Exchanging Knowledge: Learning by interactive knowledge channels between the university and its environment’. Objectives and Target Group The workshop has different aims: First the participant should learn how important are interactive knowledge channels between universities and its environment for the development of the country. Second, the participant should define knowledge channels on their own for different branches in Nepal. They should discuss problems concerning the establishment of knowledge channels and present solutions to overcome the identified problems. The target group comprises the university graduates and young professors, government officers involved in social sectors, small scale industries, young entrepreneurs, scientists, economists, social workers (in different fields such as public health, income generation strategies etc.) and policy makers. How the knowledge channels can be established between the universities and its surrounding will form the focus of the interactive discussions.
