“Nepal to play practice matches with U23 National squad of Sri Lanka” Coach Pubudu Dassanayeke and ACC Development Officer for Nepal Rumesh Ratnanayeke are working on a concrete practice plans for Nepali Cricket Team in Sri-Lanka. The team is set to travel to Sri Lanka on 1st August and stay there for 15 days preparing for the Emerging Teams Cup. “Nepal will play four matches with Sri-Lanka U 23 team and one with North & East Provincial Cricket Team. We are playing against Sri Lanka U23 National Team which will be touring Singapore for the ACC Emerging Team’s Cup”, said Pubudu Dassanayeke when inquired about the plans. The other details of the tour are yet to be finalised. “Me and Rumesh are working on the SL tour”, he informed.“The Sri Lanka U23 Team is almost as strong as Sri Lanka “A” Team” Dassanayeke elaborated.
