Nepali people are never patriotic. No. The only adjective that can describe us properly would be chauvinistic as I keep saying. Chauvinistic Nationalism is what most of us display on social media and micro blogging sites, especially when India has something to do with us or our affairs. The same so called patriotism is somehow MODIfied when a charismatic leader from across the border addresses us for a brief second. The same patriotism mysteriously vanishes when someone gets a Diversity Visa or a PR to the western hemisphere. Practicality and rationality is what we need to move forward, not Chauvinism disguised as Patriotism. This is not love for our country, its a sour grape way of thinking because we envy other nations that do because we just dont.
