Network Marketing Tip for Today: What Do Tennis & Network Marketing Have in Common? Understanding network marketing and how it works is crucial to your success but you have to understand too that you are going to go through a huge range of emotions. There is actually an emotional scale that you go through so today I have compared it to tennis and yes I am on the tennis court for todays topic... What would tennis and network marketing have in common? Check out todays video to find out what they have in common. I went to this amazing business training for my network marketing company over the weekend... and we went through the emotional scale of emotions. This emotional scale ranged from anger/hatred... to ...blame... to... frustration... to... boredom... to... hopefulness... to... enthusiasm... to... excitement... to... contentment - living the dream. So now you get the picture of the emotional scale. When you think of it when you start off in network marketing you get taken through that range. So when you get started you have that excitement and enthusiasm because you have caught the vision and you can see what is possible. Now after a while you will get frustrated and angry because you are learning skills and you are completely out of your comfort zone... you are not seeing any results and you question yourself whether you can do this network marketing thing. Then the boredom will set in because you have to do the daily activities of what is involved in network marketing... plus you will fluctuate between frustration and boredom because you are not seeing the results yet. You have to understand that you are planting the seeds. After a period of time you will then start to see a few results come through for your efforts, you will become hopeful of the work that you are putting in starts to pay off... you see more results coming through you become excited and enthusiastic and at some point if you stick with it you end up reaching your goals. Now how is that related to tennis? Well just think about it... if you want to learn how to play tennis, you have to get coaching and learn the skills. So you then go through the same emotions. When you first start to play tennis you are enthusiastic and excited to learn... then you get frustrated because you are out of your comfort zone, it is all new to you so you dont feel comfortable you feel very awkward and perhaps a little uncoordinated. You then go through the boredom of the repetition of the practice you must do in order to improve. As you improve in your skills then you are excited and enthusiastic about the improvement and you can then see what is possible for you to play tennis. You then apply your skills you have learned out on the tennis court in a game. Again you go through the emotions in a game... you are excited about putting everything into the game that you have learned but you get challenges. So as you play your game you again go through the emotional range scale of frustration and anger if you are losing to the enthusiasm and excitement of winning when you get ahead. Can you see the comparison? Everything that you do in network marketing, in tennis, in sport and in life you are going to go through that emotional scale. You just have to make sure that in order for you to understand network marketing you have to realize that there is no get rich quick scheme and everything is rosie. You are going to face challenges, you are going to be tested... you are going to have to put in the work and you are going to go through a range of emotions too. But always think back to learning a sport or an instrument or something that you have learned in the past and what you went through to get better and achieve success with that sport etc. Because if you think along that line understanding network marketing will be easier for you... and understanding the emotions that you will go through will be easier for you too.
