Neurology appointment went really well!!! The twitches Mighty Mouse is having are not necessarily the presentation of his seizures. The twitching is just irritated nerves/brain tissue. He had many seizures during his EEG that did not occur along with his muscle twitches. So they arent actually related to each other. So, there really is no way to tell when he is having seizures visually. So that is good. Good news is even better, that the seizure activity will not worsen his condition (well, anymore than his brain injury already has). The neuro also showed me his MRI. I had seen the written report, but seeing the damage is so much more......real. Almost the entire back left portion of his brain is dead/scar tissue which is why the right side of his body is so severely affected. His hematomas will probably have been resolved by now. So, I am back to being hopeful about his condition again. Helmet assessment is tomorrow morning, bright and early.
