Never ever beg for anything. My father told me that. He said if you have to beg for something, then either you are not deserving of it or it is not worth having. He also said that begging is the bottom of the barrel, no one can respect you if you beg for something. My father was a very smart man and I loved him and my mother dearly, respected them completely and will honor them always. Their love for each other was inspiring, unconditional, pure and loyal. It was also forever. I hope someday I will know love like that. I hope the wisdom of my parents has worn off on me and made me a better man.
