Never get Mediacom Internet. We have had a terrible time with them. Our service with them has been plagued with (long) outages, intermittent service interruptions, and never any monetary compensation for those problems. (I was chatting with a representative and my Internet incidentally went out while doing so last night, and has not yet been restored.) We are terminating our service with them. The problem is, now our alternatives are limited. Uverse is not available at the new address, and AT&T is really the only major competitor to Mediacom in town. Were looking into alternatives, but if anyone has lesser-known suggestions, please let me know. Google Fiber, why the heck couldnt you have chosen Springfield instead of Kansas City?
