Never never, ever ever, be nice to the elderly . . . well maybe there are a couple of exceptions (like being nice to me)! The owner of the $590 million dollar PowerBall ticket came forward with the winning ticket yesterday, along with her attorneys and financial advisers and let the world know a little secret. She was waiting, in a long line to make several automated quick picks and, since she is 84 years old, a "very nice gentleman" in front of her decided to let her go ahead of him making his quick pick purchase. She credits the man with having given her the opportunity to obtain the winning ticket. Says she has no idea who he is and likely would not recognize him even if he came forward. This, as she was about to receive her check for early payout to the tune of about $360 million dollars! HEY LADY . . . That kind gentleman was ME!!!!
