The absolute performer The need for ever-better cost per kilometre performance guided Bridgestone engineers to develop a tyre that is extremely durable, thanks to the high-performance compound and a robust casing construction. The latest reinforced compound technology was integrated in the new R168PLUS, delivering better performance and improved tear resistance. A wider top belt provides better protection against penetrations while the special tread design helps to avoid stone retention and has high resistance against chunking. Total Tyre Life The R168PLUS features a robust casing construction, making it ideal for use within a “multiple lives” concept – Total Tyre Life by Bridgestone – with advanced Bandag R168 retreads. This premium Bandag retread not only looks like the new tyre, but also offers outstanding levels of quality, reliability and mileage performance, similar to those of original Bridgestone tyres. The R168PLUS in size 385/65R22.5 will be available for the replacement and original equipment markets as of October 1st.
