New Campaign Launched To Find Molly Bish Killer WARREN, Mass (WGGB) — A renewed campaign has been launched to find Molly Bish’s killer. Her family kicked off a new series of new tactics this week, hoping they will help uncover a major piece of evidence. Molly Bish would have turned 30 this August 2nd. It’s now been 13 years since she was kidnapped and killed while working as a lifeguard at Comins Pond in Warren. “Somebody Knows Something” — that’s what the title of the new slogan and it’s also what the Bish family believes when it comes to whoever killed Molly when she was just 16 years old. “Anybody, if you know anything, relationships change over the years,” Molly’s sister Heather said. “You know, it’s been 13 years so maybe someone has something that they are willing to share now or maybe they thought of something or remember something and they want to share that piece too.” Heather is working to get the new flyer in every single town in Massachusetts. “The State Police have said that there’s just that one piece of the puzzle that’s missing and we’re just looking for ways to find that piece,” Heather said. Molly’s mom Maggie Bish says seeing Molly’s friends turn 30 and start young families is yet another reminder to keep Molly on the forefront of everyone’s minds. She hopes talk of what would have been a milestone birthday will lead to a milestone break in the cold case. Maggie’s personal part of the effort will be an open letter to Molly’s killer, pleading that he come forward in peace. “Perhaps maybe it’s time. You know, he knows what happened,” Maggie said. “And if I can perhaps reach him at this point, he’s carried this on with him for all these years. Maybe he’s ready to speak and tell me. I don’t want to have hate in my heart. I want to be able to live my life and love and feel Molly’s joy.” A long-awaited emotion that could be made possible by “somebody who knows something.” “When you love somebody, it’s so important,” Maggie said of keeping Molly’s memory alive. “It doesn’t ever go away, it’s energy, and it goes on forever, and you know I think that’s why Molly still goes on.” As we mentioned, it’s the goal of the Bish family to get that flyer in all 351 towns in Massachusetts. You can help them by downloading the flyer anytime after Thursday morning from mollybish.org. The Bish family says hanging it anywhere- telephone poles, diners, grocery stores, etc. will be a big help in getting the word out and refreshing people’s memories. It could lead to a critical piece of this tragic puzzle. And if you have any information, large or small, connected to the death of Molly, contact the State Police detectives assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney’s office at 508-832-9124. wggb/2013/07/10/new-campaign-launched-to-find-molly-bish-killer/
