New Challenges and New Paradigm in Turkeys Foreign Policy GPoT Center in collaboration with Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Liberty (FNS) in Turkey organized a roundtable discussion with the participation of GPoT Centers High Advisory Board Members, including former ambassadors and state officials. The event, entitled “New Challenges and New Paradigm in Turkey’s Foreign Policy: Axis Shift In The Middle East“, took place on Büyükada, Istanbul, between 15-17 November with a one-day roundtable discussion organized on Saturday 16th followed by a concluding session on Sunday 17th. The roundtable meetings first session focused on discussing Turkey’s current stance in the Middle East, policies on the Syrian unrest and the conflict’s possible impact on Turkey and neighboring countries, and Turkey’s role in the region for peace and prosperity.
