New Childbirth Class being offered at CBP: Labor and Deliver Cliffs notes is a one day, 6 hr class that covers the basics, a to the point childbirth class. Preparing your body and mind for one of the most important and memorable events in your and your partners life. The class will cover relaxation, breathing, preparing for labor, what to expect, how to know, labor positions, the birth of your baby and immediate post partum. Cliffs notes are geared to those first time Moms who can’t take a 4-6 week class or those Moms who have had an epidural in the past and are now going the natural chilldbirth way. The class is developed and taught by Judy Osborne, Certified Nurse Midwife. Judy has been delivering babies since 1998, the last six years at Charleston Birth Place & Trident Medical Center. Class dates: December 13th, 9:00 am - 4:30 pm. Location: Charleston Birth Place. The first class will be offered at a reduced rate of $50.
